How it works

How an order actually goes.

01Send your artwork

Tell us what you want printed.

Garment, placement, and rough quantity. A vague idea is a fine start. We come back with a price and a firm date, usually the same day.

02Approve your proof

Nothing prints until you say yes.

We send a proof showing the print at actual size and placement on the garment you picked. Revise it as many times as you need. It only goes on a press once you approve it in writing.

03We print and deliver

In your hands on the day we named.

Half the total starts production, the balance is due before it leaves us. Your turnaround clock starts the day you approve, and tracking follows the same day.

The shelf

Printed for the crew. Sold at the counter.

One order, two jobs. Your crew gets something worth wearing, and your counter gets something to sell.

The shop

We print it ourselves.

No broker, no upload form, no ticket number. The person running the press is the one answering your questions, and runs go as large as you need.

Two years on our own label We ran a surf and lifestyle apparel brand and printed the entire line ourselves, start to finish.
Every piece on our press Nothing is brokered out, white labelled, or sent to a print farm. It is printed where it is quoted.
Nothing runs unapproved No garment has ever gone on a press here without a proof approved in writing first.

Blanks worth printing on

We say when a cheaper blank costs you the reorder, and when it will not.

02

Your artwork stays on file

We keep your files and screens, so the second run is quicker than the first.

03

One set of hands

The person who quotes your job is the person who prints it.

Local, and reachable

Up and down this coast. When it is easier in person, we come to you.

Who we work with

If your name goes on it, we print it.

Taprooms, counters, kitchens, front desks and job sites. The garment changes, the standard does not.

Breweries

Taproom crew, launch tees, collab and release runs.

Coffee shops

Counter merch, staff shirts, and totes that actually sell.

Restaurants

Front of house, kitchen crew, and opening day merch.

Bars

Staff shirts, and the one regulars keep asking to buy.

Surf and skate shops

Shop tees, team runs, and inventory that moves off the wall.

Gyms and athletic clubs

Member swag, challenge shirts, and league runs.

Events and races

Festival, fundraiser, and race day runs, dated and done.

Trades and crews

Crew shirts that hold up, with your name on every job site.

Shops and makers

Retail runs and inventory for markets and pop ups.

Opening soon

Merch on the shelf the day you unlock the door.

Selling merch

The same shirt, with a price on it.

Staff shirts are an expense. Put them on a shelf with a price tag and they are inventory. Most shops we talk to have never run the second version.

  • You set the retail priceTwenty four at the minimum, priced how you like. A tee that moves at retail pays for the crew's shirts.
  • The slow hours still earnA shelf earns through the flat hours without anyone working the sale.
  • Every piece that leaves keeps workingSomeone wearing your name on a Saturday is reach you did not buy.

What changes

Your name, out walking around.

Nobody photographs a flyer. A good tee ends up in someone’s camera roll on a Saturday, three towns from your door.

Off the press

Be one of the many runs off our press.

We are taking on new merch clients now. Shops that come in early get us at our most attentive, first call on the schedule, and a real say in the blanks we stock.

Good to know

What shops ask us first.

What is the smallest order you take?

Twenty four pieces per design, in any mix of sizes. Six smalls, ten mediums and eight larges is one order. A second colorway or placement is its own run, with its own minimum.

What does an order cost?

Price moves with four things: the garment, the quantity, how many ink colors your artwork uses, and how many places we print it. Tell us those four and we come back with a total and a date, usually the same day. A quote costs nothing.

How long does it take, and when does the clock start?

Ten to fifteen business days from the day you approve your proof, not the day you first write to us. Sitting on a proof for a week moves your date by a week. Your quote names the calendar date it goes out on or before, and if anything threatens it you hear from us before it passes.

What if my logo is not print ready?

Send whatever you have. Vector is best, an AI, EPS or editable PDF at print size, and a layered PSD at 300 DPI works too. If all you have is the logo pulled off your website, we will tell you honestly whether it holds up before you spend anything.

Do I see it before it prints?

You have to. We send a proof showing the print at actual size and placement on your garment, and it goes on a press only once you approve it in writing. Revise it as often as you need, and read every word twice, because the approved proof is what gets printed.

What happens if something comes out wrong?

A production defect on our end, we reprint it and you do not pay twice. An error in artwork you already approved, we tell you plainly what a rerun costs and let you decide. Either way you get the straight answer.

What can you print on?

Tees, hoodies, crewnecks, long sleeve and totes. Tell us the fit you are after and we put two or three blanks in front of you. Premium blanks earn their money on a run you intend to sell. On a back of house staff shirt they usually do not, and we will say so.

How does payment work?

Half the total starts production, the balance is due before it leaves us. Nothing is owed to get a quote or see a proof. Card charges appear as Plumors Merch.

Not covered here? Email hello@plumorsmerch.com and we will answer it ourselves.

Before you go

See it on a shirt first.

Send us your logo and we will send back a mockup on the garment you have in mind. No charge, and it does not commit you to anything.
