We want plumorsmerch.com to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, or a device set to reduce motion. This page describes where the site stands today and how to tell us when it falls short.

What we are aiming for

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. We are a small shop and this site is maintained by hand rather than audited by a third party, so we describe below what we have actually checked rather than claiming full conformance.

What the site does today

• Every control on our own pages is reachable and operable by keyboard, and the element you are on is visibly outlined.
• The questions section uses a native disclosure element, so it announces and opens correctly whether or not scripts run.
• Setting your device to reduce motion turns off the card animations, the hover effects, and the reveals.
• Headings run in order, so a screen reader can move through the page by structure.
• Body text is set above the minimum contrast against its background throughout.
• Wide content scrolls inside its own container rather than forcing the whole page sideways.
• The page is laid out in relative units, so it holds together when text is enlarged.

Where we know it falls short

Photography for several sections has not been shot yet. Those areas are marked as placeholders and carry no information, and each one will get meaningful alternative text when the images are in place.

Our order form is embedded from a third party, so its markup is not ours to fix. If it gives you any trouble at all, email or call us and we will take the whole order that way instead, start to finish.

Tell us and we will fix it

If something on this site blocks you, email hello@plumorsmerch.com and tell us what happened and what you were using. We will fix it, and in the meantime we will get you the same information another way.

Nothing on this site is the only route to us. Everything here, including requesting a quote, approving a proof, and placing an order, can be handled entirely by phone or email.

Changes to this statement

We review this statement when we change the site, and we will revise the date at the top of this page when we do.
